Original Artwork
I have been collecting Russ’s original artwork ever since I met him in 1995. These six Mister Oswald pages are from my collection, and include the two pages he gave me when I interviewed him. I’m lucky enough to own one of my favorite Mister Oswald pages, the one with the case of mistaken identity. The image on the homepage is from that strip.
As you look at Russ’s work, check out the small details he would incorporate in to the strip. I wonder how many buckets of nails and screws he drew over six decades.
